[Healeys] Left side indicators not working

Check the voltage at the relay. If it is below 13V the indicators may 
not work properly if the standard Lucas relay is used. The lights will 
stay on but will not blink. You may have a voltage drop because of a bad 
earth in the system/light unit or a corroded bullet connector. Also 
check the wiring near the bullet connectors as there may be a fatigue break.
Of course you checked the bulbs?
