If your leg position is OK, but you want your shoulders farther back another
way to accomplish this is to drill a second set of seat back pivot holes
slightly below the two existing holes. The holes do not need to be a lot lower
to create a larger change at the top of the seat back. However, before you do
this or consider replacement seats, slide your seat all the way back & observe
how little space there is between the top of the seat back & the upholstery
side panels just behind the seat, especially in a BJ8. I would suspect
replacement seats would be even harder to fit in the available space because
they usually have thicker padding.

You might try mounting a length of square steel (1" x1" maybe?) across the
two
front seat mounting bolts to tip the entire seat assembly backwards.  That
should get you a little further away from the steering wheel.
