[Healeys] Facet Fuel Pumps (Was: Why Carry Spares?)

Alan,

Triple the cost and a proprietary filter just so I can't hear the pump. I
am skeptical of that approach for me personally since I can't hear the pump
when the motor is running anyway.

Good there are alternatives to match varied personal tastes and approaches.
Thanks for pointing these out, certainly more attractive than the resin
lumps.

Cheers

T

Personally, I like the gold flo / bendix style pumps better, they are
quieter and have an inbuilt filter before the pump to keep it clean. You
can also access the filter from the bottom. They are more expensive but
being much quieter is a huge plus.
