[Healeys] Why carry spares

Been running two facet pumps in series for about 7 years. They work great in
series. I switch back and forth once in a while and have the center
position for theft deterrent under dash. I did run two wires in a sheath
(off road driving lights wiring leftover from fog light relay project) all
the way from front to back. I never had one go out and still carry another
in the boot. I have loaned the boot one out a few times. :-)

I sent an email to Dave Dubois and asked if he's done any testing with two
pumps in series.

If anyone has any long body LCS pumps that their Healey no longer needs, I
might be interested. I'm looking for "cores" with undisturbed coil/coil
housings. Dirty, non-functional and incomplete is fine.
Won't make you rich, but will cover shipping in the lower 48.

Cheers,
