[Healeys] Why carry spares

Hi Ric,
I have a double ended SU pump. Switched with a 3 position Bugeye indicator
switch under the dash. Mine is set for both on; none on; one on. Every 6
months I change the 'one on' lead to the other pump end.
You could obviously use the same setup for left on: none on; right end on.
I switch to both on to start. Just so I know they both work. No other reason.
Driver check....
I use both on only on a circuit.
I also have a Malpassi fuel regulator/ filter right near the carbs.
You can regulate fuel flow. And it has a glass bowl so you can see filter
health without climbing under the car, getting soaked in fuel, etc....
Not a single fuel issue in 15 years with this setup.
Best
Chris
