The wattage of standard LED bulbs is negligible, probably around 1-2W
instead of the 25W Tungsten bulb they replace, but the ones that can be
used with a standard indicator relay should have appr. the same wattage
as the standard 25W Tungsten bulb. For the rear lights and side lights
it is less than 0,5W instead of the standard 5W Tungsten bulb.
If you want to reduce electrical consumption there is no use in
replacing the indicator or brake lights, as these are only in use for
very short times. However it pays to replace al the constant burning
bulbs like rear lights, side lights, town lights, side markers and what
have you. You can even go as far as replacing all the instrument/radio
lights.
Only sensible though if you have the standard dynamo (max. around 25A)
or alternator (max. around 35A) and are driving in the cold, wet and
dark frequently or use 100/80W bulbs in the head lamps, have a full
powered audio system and/or use additional spot/fog lights.
