[Healeys] lenses

I do not know about the Litezupp but there are several LED lights that
can be used with modern cars that warn you when a light has gone. I
presume they incorporate a by-pass resistor to generate the same power
consumption as the original bulb. There is no sense to fit these kind of
LED bulbs if you want to decrease electrical power consumption.
In general it is fairly easy to detach the LED bulb from its base and
change over the wires to change polarity. There are also bulbs that
incorporate diodes in the base to make them fit for dual polarity.
It is correct to use white LED's only on lights with coloured lenses.
The coloured LED's should only be used with clear lenses.
