[Healeys] what year

Neils,

That black and white tag was a California only tag and was issued when the
car was sold.

So your car was built in October 1966 but not sold in California until
1967.  Just that simple, plus the US model year for 1967 cars would have
started in September of 1966.

I have one of these tags on my Bugeye that says BMC 61 even though my
Bugeye was manufactured in July 1960.
