Randy

I have never seen an original engine with the engine plate painted over.
This also applies to A70 and A90 Atlantics being produced at the same time
as our engines. From a very vague memory I believe that gold seal exchange
engines might have had the new engine number painted over in gold but I am
not certain of this.

If one sees a painted over plate then I assume that this has happened after
delivery.

Best regards
