[Healeys] brake cylinder problem

If you're using DoT 3/4 and the 'crud' is gelatinous (howdayalikethatword?) I've seen this before. Happened to our 
BN2--with fresh parts and fluid--after it sat for a couple years.

Otherwise, all I can suggest is total cleanout/rebuild of your system and/or try another brand of brake fluid.
