[Healeys] SAE 140 Use In Differential To Reduce Noise?

I think the heavier oil is worth a try. It wont do any harm, but also not
likely to cre the problem, but not impossible that it will make it better.
Removing the diff should be the last as it certanly means a full rebuild
with all its cost and problems. Check the wheel bearings first. They can
make a lot of sound if not the certain "diff whining", but can be similar
to.
