[Healeys] SAE 140 Use In Differential To Reduce Noise?

You're getting diff whine because at some point the lubrication went low
and the gears have been galled.  Alternatively, the diff is not set up in
spec to run the mating on centre gear face, also causing whining.  You may
want to consider taking the diff out and having it inspected, you might be
able to reduce the whining by having the pinion reset correctly to mate
properly.
