[Healeys] Brake drum theory question

If the brake shoes are adjusted so that they drag, it is not a travel
problem. There is either insufficient pressure, or the radius of the
shoes does not match the radius of the drum, and therefore is a very
small contact patch, so only a little friction area results, resulting
in inadequate braking force.
