[Healeys] Problem with triple carbs, running!

David, This is the third float needle that I have put in on carb #1. What
should my specs be for float height 7/16? I will check fuel pressure and
filters, then float bowl and lid #1 and get back to you guys.

My Healey turned 50 last week and I need to take it out for a drive.
Thanks!

Float level on that carb must be set just a little high, or there is a
little grit in the needle

Fellow Healeyoids,

Now, I have had this car running last fall several times and it ran fine.

Currently, I'm having a problem with my triple carbs on the Healey. I have

a 63 BJ7 fitted with three 1 3/4, HS6 carbs on bored out triple manifolds.

I also have a Facet fuel pump, an inline filter and regulator. The carbs

are rebuilt. They have the correct needles for the setup. They have new

gross jets in the float bowls. I have removed the dashpots and there is

little gas coming up from the jet orifice on the first carb (front most) and

none on the other two. Is my fuel pressure too low? What should it be set

at on the regulator 3 pounds? Is the hang up on the first float bowl?

Could there be a vapor lock in the fuel line? Thanks!
