[Healeys] Throw out bearing problems

One thing to check is whether you keep fitting the correct bearing, or not.
Is your BJ7 engine, early or late?
from the pics it looks like an early BJ7 clutch cover??
Early BJ7s have a different thrust & clutch to late BJ7s. Late BJ7s are the
same as BJ8
100/6 etc are different again.
Sprites are the same story - in that 948/ 1100 and 1275 carbon thrusts are all
different offsets....
I.e. There are different offsets of the carbon thrusts. You need to fit the
carbon thrust that is appropriate to the clutch cover you are fitting. I
suspect you have the wrong carbon thrust for the clutch - does it have a part
number? I suspect you have been fitting a BJ8 thrust.
Do you still have all the old ones so you can compare the offsets??
