[Healeys] Austin name tag

A question for the concours guys.   I am replacing the printed metal tag
"AUSTIN" on the top of the valve cover (BN7).  My old one is printed in light
brown.  I don't know if it is original but I believe it might be.

The new one from Moss is printed in black.  I have search my reference books
but it is hard to tell what is correct.  In some photos it appears brown,
others black.

I would like to keep it "original looking" even if it is new.

Any help is always appreciated.
