Ah, "without to much trouble" is the problem.
Usually it involves removing the rubber (torch or mechanically) and
cutting/grinding (hack saw, reciprocating saw, dremel tool etc.) the
steel outer sleeve without damaging the suspension part, then driving
out or levering out the remnants and cleaning up the hole.
If you are going to fit PU bushes make sure the metal parts are
stainless steel and apply the supplied lubricant profusely. The steel
bush will rotate in the PU rubber. Non stainless or galvanised steel
will corrode and wear away the PU rubber.
