[Healeys] Shroud Badge Installation Question

I put a new one on my BJ8 a couple years ago and I recall a similar situation.  You can:

1) go ahead an install it and hope the clips pull the badge down a little
2) try to bend/deform the badge a little to flatten it out
3) grind/file a little off the wings to make it fit a little better
4) some combination of the above

I don't think you can bend the badge much without buckling it, and they're expensive (as you know).  Not sure I'd grind 
on them, but I might.  Think you're best off with option# 1; if your paint is fully cured/hardened it should be OK.

I think a gasket would look crappy.
