Many possible problems, but an easy and cheap starting point is to replace the
disti rotor - thsy go bad and short the HT to ground when they get hot.

I had 2 bad ones in a row before finding a good one.  Stopped me on the road
twice in 2 weeks.  Avoid made in China high voltage electrical parts.
