Ok, after my tribulations with electrics last week Im still confused about
that black and white wire. Electrics aren't my strong suit so bear with me.
I know the wire is there so that when the switch is off it is impossible to
bump start the car.

What does disconnecting it at the battery switch actually do? When the
switch is on is the black and white wire out of the circuit? Last week I
disconnected it at both ends and I had no spark. When I reconnected it my
car started.

Is there any diference with a car wired like a BJ8 which only has one white
wire going to the coil?
