I looked at this yesterday, and thought the concept was pretty cool in that it
maintained a straight 6 with "imitation" SU's.

Neat idea, just a bit blasphemous.

That said, If I was going to go through the trouble of a swap and the
blasphemy, a Small Block Ford V8.   If the straight 6 thing was a big deal, a
BMW 3L would be the way to go.
