[Healeys] 3rd Brake LIght

I suspect that the effectiveness of 3rd brake lights has been reduced by
the present position of them.
In the early days the position was high up on the roof or up in the rear
screen. However because of production manufacturers used a loop hole in
the regulations that allowed the these lights to be fitted on the boot
lid to accommodate convertibles and other cars that did not have a
possibility to fit the light up high.
The result being that these days many coupe's and sedans have the 3rd
brake light fitted low down, which is cheaper but renders it less effective.
