Mel,
I just bought an angle drive and copper washer from Moss through
lbcarco.com. The washer's dimensions are .692" OD, .446"ID, and .060"
thickness. I'm not convinced that copper is necessary.
I had earlier mentioned using steel washers that I found in my 5/16"
flat washer drawer. There were three different IDs in there. One of
them that fills the bill is .693" OD (I said .700 from memory earlier),
I drilled it out to 3/8" (.375) ID, and the thickness is .074". You
could easily drill it out to 7/16" (.4375) and get closer to the Moss
ID, though I don't believe it would be necessary.
