[Healeys] DM6A disty query

Healeyites,

A general question concerning points vs. Pertonics.  The folks at
Advanced tried to talk me out of electronic points as the quality of their
mechanical points were superior to Pertronics.

Hard to argue with the
"experts' but my own experiences with British electronics (1975 MGB) make me
question why older technology would now be a better choice.

Anybody got an
opinion either way?
