Hi Gergo,
The starter should be able to turn the freshly restored engine. First I would
check the earth connection starter-engine (paint on starter motor),
engine-chassis is not strong enough. If this is all ok, seems your starter
needs an overhaul or your starter solenoid is not in best health.

Betreff: [Healeys] First start

Hi,

Nice day. I thought, why not starting my BN4 first time in 25years? The answer
came in quickly: the starter is not strong enough to move the engine.
Is it a "normal issue" on rebuilt 6 cyl engines, or is my starter dead?
(Engine earth on, battery cable big enough (35q), battery 74A)

Gergo
