[Healeys] 3000 Engine Block

They are all blind holes. A tip - when you install the studs, do not torque
them first as the factory manual suggests. Tighten all of the studs only
finger tight. When you torque the nuts, it will torque both the nuts and the
studs to the proper torque and it is a much better procedure.
