This was a post by Bob Haskell and a couple of comments a few months ago
about using a gasket from the "Help" section of the auto parts stores-

"The no splash 'gasket' that Moss sells (582-505) for the brake fluid
reservoir is Dorman Help! part number 42072 for various GM models
2004-1987.  Might be available at your local auto parts store.
Bob"

Our local Autozone had the gasket. It did require a slight trim around
the edge to fit in the cap.
