I believe that people should be held accountable for their actions.
That's why I recommended the carfax lookup. If the vehicle's been
registered, wrecked, found stolen, or anything else it'll appear on
the carfax. It's cheap and instant information. And it's not only a
heck of a lot faster info than a police report, it can be later used
as evidence.
