[Healeys] Missfire followup 1

I noticed the contacts inside the cap are pretty uniformly eaten away and  
the metal contact on top the rotor is loose and moves a little.  If  the 
distributor shaft is bad, shouldn't it wiggle a little bit? By the way I  have 
electronic ignition (not sure what brand).
