Had my high school teacher tell me the Montreal was
the capital city of Canada!
Oh mon Dieu, the rest of you Canadians are saying. It
was probably a French plot.
She argued with me when I told her it was actually
Ottawa....even after I told 
her I was a Canadian!
Brought in an Atlas the next day and she apologized
and corrected herself.
I still remember having to memorize the capitals of
every US state, Canadian Province,
European and South American country, and a smattering
of Asian capitals as well.

That was elementary school too!

revealing!!!
It is AMAZING what even SCHOOL TEACHERS have NO clue
about!!!  I'm sure that
either on his site or NBC, clips would still be
available.

Unfortunately, quite "educational"<sigh>!!

Saw a "pro" Driving Instructor with "student" at the
wheel (just past Sat.)
turn FROM a 4 lane street LEFT onto 4 lane street and
student went directly to
curb lane!!  ILLEGAL, but that's haw our "new"
drivers" are being taught!!
What do you think goes on INSIDE the school???

Amazing, simply amazing and a REAL SHAME!!
