Gentlemen,
I need some advice, I have a 1959 BN4 w/original (tired) 26d engine and is non-overdrive (still looking for complete trans and overdrive unit) I have found a 67 BJ8 engine. The owner of this engine said"Head and bottom end are done" he states.. head ported, cylinders bored out to next size, new pistons, rods machined shot-peened, crank and flywheel balanced, line bored, new bearings, cam reground, etc. It needs an exhaust manifold and final assembly. My question is what all is required to install this engine into my car ,changes,upgrades,benefits,etc.etc. is it worth doing?
Thanks in advance!
Mitch
