As long as we are being 'testy' about List practices -----

WHY do people send a response to someone by sending it "To:" the individual 
AND The List?  The individual is on The List, isn't he??  If you send it 
through The List, he will receive it, won't he???  Unless you are sending an 
attachment to the individual, why would you send him two copies of the 
message????

The fact that you are including The List indicates that you want all of us 
to see the response.  Unless there is some technical reason why the 
individual would not receive both copies, I do not see the logic.

I have questioned this procedure before and no one has ever provided a 
reasonable explanation.  If fact, I do not recall anyone providing ANY 
explanation.  If you have, please refresh my memory.
