Thanks, John. If their names are on the rosters, then I will admit that I
was lazy. The new rosters are out in the Healey so I used older ones in my
'office'. That's what happens when you get 'old'. You take shortcuts that
can cause embarrasment.
Speaking of old, I plan to live forever. So far, so good. And wife Marge
can anticipate a long life. She hasn't found a funeral home yet that offers
coupons.

It is, in the least, suspicious. I did go to the site and it asks that one
register which I will not do. Normally, when I receive the John Doe emails I
just delete them without reading them. I remember some months ago there was
a thread on this guy.
As far as Garrison and Vannetta are concerned, Vannetta is listed in the
latest issue of the AHCUSA Directory and there is a listing in both
directories for Garrison but not by that first name. It is common for people
to put a "out of office" message on their email especially if they are using
their office email address. This is to let people know that they should not
expect a rapid response.

That message, in my opinion, is a perfect example of a 'spam' or 'phishing'
e-mail: source unknown, click on an unknown link. I will not touch it with
a ten foot pole unless someone on The List took a chance and confirms it to
be OK.
I do not find a "John Doe" on any of the club rosters that I have although I
think he has sent at least one other message to The List. As far as I can
tell, he has not done so since February, the date of purchase of my current
computer.
Along the same line, does anyone know a Charles Vannatta or Mike Garrison?
I periodically receive an e-mail addressed to The List saying that they are
"...out of the office..." and I should contact their office at a given phone
number. Neither one is on any roster. Legit or phishing??
