The dark blue BN.7 was dispatched to Healeys in the red primer as a complete 
car and yes the finished colour of blue was certainly not to concours standard 
and in fact was missing in some places. What is most interesting is that when 
parked besides the 1965 works Sebring car the paint technique used on the 
firewalls was almost identical.The items mounted on the firewall were very 
roughly masked off and quickly sptayed around the edges.Result, part primer red 
and part body colour.I have recently seen photographs taken at Healeys of the 
works car from '65 with trade/dealer  plates fitted and the firewall is exactly 
the same as it is today.
