Hi, Bob -
Congratulations on your new Healey!
You can get the information you need to order the BMIHT certificate,
including the cost, with the original manufacturing info here:
http://www.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk/archive/certificate_index.html
I personally like Florida Green very much, but it is rather a rare color and
was discontinued early in BJ8 production (Sep 65 for Florida Green/Ivory
White and Sep 66 for Florida Green). To continue the BJ8 registry report
about colo(u)rs from yesterday, the registry records only 2 cars
(HBJ8L/26067 and HBJ8L/26962) that were originally Florida Green of the 849
cars for which BMIHT information is documented in the registry that were
built up to the end of September 1966.
Happy Healeying!

Subject: [Healeys] 1957 100-6 BN4
I recently purchased a 1957 100-6 BN4, Number 42497, 86,000 original miles,
built in Longbridge in June or July 1957, it was literally stored in a
garage
for 30 years and is 100% original and all there. I bought it from the son
(75
years old) of the original purchaser. It was Florida Green (I think a very
rare color). I want to order the complete build history, registry
information, but don't know where to order it from. Does anyone have this
information and the cost of getting the history of the car? Thanks for your
help, Bob Legate, San Clemente, California
