[Healeys] good news/bad news

in reference to my overdrive problem, the good news is it was apparently a
lack of lubrication which was keeping the prop tube from turning both
directions.  i cleaned up and lubricated everything very thoroughly and put
everything back together and reinstalled everything in the car.   since i do
not have the electrics hooked up yet, i  started engine in high gear and set
at about 1100 rpm or so.  when i engaged the od manually, it would shift into
od then bog down and kill engine.  i could restart immedietly and reengage and
it would bog down and kill engine.  anyone know of an easy fix before i take
it out and try to figure out what i did wrong.  everything looked ok inside
and it was put back together the way it came apart.  TIA   healeymanjim
