[Healeys] turn signals and tail lights

I'm a little confused about your terminology, but I'll assume that by 
driving lights you mean tail lights.

If the tail lights are bright and the turn/brake lights are dim you have 
reversed the wiring in the receptacles. Try reversing the wires for the 
brake and tail lights and see if that fixes it.
