[Fot] TR6 Racing Tire Question

Mike, this is on a TR-4, but I've switched from the Speedsters to the
R888R's and am very happy with the switch.  I get much longer tire life
(primary factor in the switch), they don't get greasy halfway through a
session like the Speedsters do (or at least they did for me), traction
and handling characteristics are very similar, forgiving breakaway, and
MUCH better in the wet than Speedsters.  I had to go plus 1 on the wheel
diameter to keep the tire diameter the same since they don't make the
R888R in 60 series.  I run 205/55-16's, but have run the 205/50 15's in
the past and they are fine too.

Regards, Tony Drews
