[Fot] Fuel system

On my GT6 I run a hard line (3/8" nicopp) outside along the frame, not
through the cockpit. AN-6 braided hose where it connects at either end.

I use a Facet cylindrical pump 480532 and Holley regulator.

I've also added a small return line off of the front carb (furthest part of
the system), back to the fuel cell with a .040" orifice. This keep the
fuel pressure more consistent, and feeds the carbs with cooler fuel when
we are cooking in pit lane mid race for a black flag all. This works great
on street cars too, especially with E10 fuel that likes to boil.

I use a "fuel pump controller" from Revolution Electronics that shuts off
the fuel pump if it doesn't sense a tach signal in the ignition system.
Yes, it adds more complexity to the system, but it makes me feel safer vs a
simple toggle switch controlling the pump. There's also a VW fuel pump
relay that does the same thing, but some have a rev limit built in (I
learned that one the hard way....).
