I’ve used mine since 2010, no issues. I did see one batch used in another motor I built that were a little out of round on the big end.
So, like Phil said, it’s best to have them checked for round and the small end checked for wrist pin clearance.

I asked the same question, more or less, about 2 years ago. The consensus at that time was that you should have a good machine shop check all dimensions and resize as needed.

I'm in the process of building a "stockish" TR4 motor. The stock rods need to be rebuilt so I thot I'd use a set of Maxpeeding rods as they are not much more money than the cost to rebuild the stockers. Has anyone used a set of these in an 87mm sleeve? Will they fit down the bore or are they too wide to fit without going to a larger bore?
