I woudn’t care too much about tempertures and such stuff.

I set up the pressure for best laptime, regardless what the manufacturer sais.

Better to have too much pressure, than too low.

Cheers

Chris

Thank you Allen! This weekend at Eagles Canyon was my first race in a TR3. I've got the same tires and had the same question. I guessed at 28 lbs. cold and was happy with the handling, I'll go down a few pounds next time based on this advice.

Appreciate it,

Dusty Nicholson

In regards to my question regarding temperature operating range for a 225/50 R15 Hoosier Speedster tire, I have the following from Jess Speer/Hoosier:

For my car weighing 2035 lbs, hot tire pressure should be in the 26-28 lbs range.
