[Fot] DCOE choke tubes

Hi all.
 I am switching over to a newer set of webers on GT6 and would like to use
the choke tubes from the old carbs. Problem is there are no holes for the
idle air screws. Can I get away with just drilling new holes in the chokes
/ not worry about putting any holes in the chokes and don't use the idle
air adjust or Plan C ??
