It cured completely except for the very end and stuck pretty well to the trapezoid. It  tore itself apart upon removal. Subsequent applications we covered it with the pan gasket in the end or a piece of tape and it cured at the end as well.  You can see the gels oozing out of the chamfered area at the base of the rear main cap. That told us the trapezoid was full.
