I purchased a composite spring from " Flex-A-Form " years back for my Spit GT autocrosser.  It is rated at 250 lbs. and has the helped the handling.  Believe they are located in one of the Carolina's ??

I recall Tim Suddard at Grassroots Motorsports had a one piece 
fiberglass (?) spring made for the Spitfire project he was working on.  
Don't know if that idea ever went anywhere.
