It all depends how hard the pandemic will still be active by the time of the Kcup, but no one knows.
The heavy outbreak of Corona in Italy was caused by some big events in Northern Italy, the ski holydays, the Bergamo football match and a third one I did forget. It is generally accepted that a virus can spread easily where lots of people are together for some time.
On the other hand, a pandemic can turn down, and mostly does so, before herd immunity is reached. The seasonal influenza epidemic comes and goes without reaching herd immunity of 60%. Unfortunately, this corona virus is much more dangerous than the influenza viruses, not because it is more contagious but you are much better off with a flu than with the covid-19 infection. People die from influenza too, but if that happens it is because of complications like bacterial pneumonie and other surinfections (things that doctors can do something about) but this corona virus is killing people on its own by causing pneumonia, vascular damage and so on and even if you are in hospital (intensive care), all the doctors can do is give support and often the patients die and they can do nothing but watch it.
Anyway this virus has a big influence on our way of living, we can't deny it and go on as if it would not be there. Organising a big event is very complicated now.
