Hi Bob,
I have cracked 3 sets of the 949racing wheels autoxing my MINI- I
hand sanded thru the paint at the suspected crack and used a dye penetrant
test on them to verify what I could see with my naked eye. After that, I
went to a slightly heavier wheel. No cracks to report....

Real Panasports are real $$, might be worth at least checking one.

In semi related news, I just ordered a pair of the VTO 8 spoke wheels made
to a non-standard offset to try on my GT6. Ordered thru the website- super
easy. They had them machined and shipped out in less than 1 week. So far
a great experience.
