I think Smokey Yunick also built a scaled down Chevy Malibu that looked correct. Don’t recall if he got caught before he raced it however. I guess he was good at bending the rules. One of the Nascar tracks has a section in their museum devoted to what’s been discovered as cheating over the years. It’s pretty interesting to see.

  So, how cold does the fuel have to be in order to have any significant affect on volume?  I need to make 7.2 gallons of fuel go 75 minutes at Road America this weekend, where I typically burn a bit more than 1 gallon every 10 minutes.  I could soft-pedal it to save some fuel, but there is some quick competition out there.
