[Fot] Nomination- Lance Guymon

We call this Racing Rebuild season up here!  6 inches of snow today.  Not much, but enough....
Was looking over some old blocks this afternoon.  Found one that had a factory rebuild tag on it: Mains: Std., Rods .010, Rebuilt July 1, 1957.  I had cam bearings in it, so it was a relatively new engine that had been rebuilt, probably under warranty.

It’s race season in SoCal, baby!!
At Auto Club Speedway, with 120 vintage cars this weekend...sunny and 75 degrees...

He just bought the TR8 race car that was for sale in San Diego, former Canadian 1980 GT1 champion car and previously raced by Pete Wilson out of Wisconsin. Lance plans to to restore it and run it in the Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing events in CO. Lance has  owned a ’80 TR8 Convertible since ’88, first car out of college. He started endurance road racing 5 years ago in a modified ’90 Miata but has been dreaming of racing vintage in a 8, sounds like a perfect match.!  Can I have a second?  ThanksPaul
