[Fot] TR3 Front Hub Felt Seal

The Spit/GT6 are thinner felt but the same diameter. The ones from Moss have too thin of shell and slightly larger. They do not fit very well.

I tried the Nilos seals that Dave Bean Engineering sells.  They did not keep the grease in, at least in race situations where it is really hot.  I’m back to the felt seals.  I’ve found the ones that Nigel sells at Spitbits for my GT6 fit best, many of the others being sold are too large to be press-fit.

Has anyone used another type of seal for the felt one that goes between the hub and stub axle flange?


Pain in the royal ass to get it to tighten enough for the split pin and still rotate.  Concerned about damage to the bearing too.
