Ok guys, lets not over think this, here is the truth on this matter.
Its no secret that SVRA has haters out there and they are all entitled to their opinion, I don't care for it personally but I do celebrate the fact we live in a free country so hate away if you must. I will try and address some of the previously mentioned issues or concerns below.
ALL....... Triumph race cars ever made are invited to the Glen next year.
SVRA does not have a database of every Triumph in the know universe.
The Track / event directors picked the Triumph mark for next year not SVRA and we are trying to support them just like we do every year with their featured mark.
SVRA does not eat children for lunch
We are always looking for ways to improve our events for the drivers and spectators, and what better way than to give the featured mark or group a free entry, granted it is not in our best interest financially to do this but we are doing it anyway.

The entry is $100, every car that starts the race on Sunday will receive a check for $100. So to clarify, as long as your car makes through the weekend and starts the race on Sunday you will get your entry fee ($100) back. The worst possible scenario is your car brakes before Sunday you will be out the $100.
There is no Rabbit hole, cute little bunnies or snakes, only racing.
The SVRA website has all the feature marks for all events next year, svra.com
We are planning a Kastner Cup Race for Mid Ohio 2020 as an FYI.
All the best!

 Mike,
We have been having very good experiences at SVRA events. Tony and his team are really efficient at running an event.  We like the entire SVRA crew.
We are planning to bring our TR4 race car and a TR4 street car that we are finishing a 3 year body off frame restoration on.  In fact, we are taking the body off our rotisserie and putting it back on the frame this week. It will be full circle for that car to be in New York, because we bought it from a woman who lives there and had owned the car since 1971.

I received this from SVRA today. They're not my normal race group but this seems like a good deal. Anyone else going?

Please accept this personal invitation to bring your
1963 Triumph Spitfire
to the Triumph Reunion at our 2019 US Vintage Grand Prix
which includes FREE ENTRY*         Dear Mike Harmuth,I am excited to tell you about a brand new program that is being launched for SVRA’s 2019 race season. Since acquiring SVRA, it has been my goal to fund SVRA through sponsorships and engaging spectators, not just by the entry fees paid by our racers. This year we are taking a big step with the launch of our Reunion Program. At each of our SVRA events, we will host a Featured Marque or Featured Group. All hosted participants will receive special event entitlements including, “Free Entry” into the Sprint race. Each hosted entrant will run two sessions on Friday and Saturday with their normal SVRA run group and a Sunday 30 minute Reunion Race and Fan Walk. Each feature entrant will receive a Reunion Group photo and Hero Cards to pass out to kids so they can collect them and learn about your car. The Feature Marque/Group will also be highlighted in the event program and on the poster. We really are serious about you being the featured show for our spectators. For the US Vintage Grand Prix, we are hosting an Triumph Reunion. Please click the link below to enter the race. You will be responsible for the optional activities like; the test day, enduro and dinner tickets. The Sprint race will cost $100 but we will issue a $100* dollar check to each entrant that takes the green flag in Sunday's Triumph Reunion race. This is a first step at being able to offer free entry to our featured groups. It's my hope that someday, SVRA will be able to offer free entry to several race groups on the same weekend.
